Tangless Free Running Coil Threaded Insert

Tangless Thread Insert that are helically-coiled, bi-directional, wire design,designed to offer the same reliable, permanent, wear-resistant screw thread that completely eliminates the need for tang break-off and retrieval. Generally, Wire Thread Insert use a small piece of material at the bottom of the insert to provide a catching point for the installation tooling, making installation possible and easier. The tang needs to be broken off and removed after installation.
